GOOGLE STADIA IS A MESS.

Image
Google is one of the biggest tech companies in the world and when they announced that they will be entering the gaming industry it was quite a shock to a lot of people. But the way Google had planned to tackle the gaming industry was quite unique, their service allowed gamers to play high graphical games anywhere they want as long as they have a high-speed data connection, no powerful graphic card was required as all data was going to be processed on their servers.  Now that Google has finally launched the service. Well, Google Stadia is a great mess with dropped frames here and there and many features that Google announced are still not available at launch. The game selection is also not all that huge not only that the games don't run at native 4K Resolution even if the connection is higher than the one Google recommends. Also, many people think that Google Stadia is like Netflix for games where each user pays a fee and has access to all the content whereas for Stadia

APPLE TV+. DOES IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Image
A few months back Apple announced that it would be offering a streaming service similar to that of Netflix and Amazon Prime, but they did not reveal the price. Apple has now officially released the service for $4.99 for the entire family (up to 6 people).  They have also provided the users with 1 year free of Apple T.V.+ subscriptions, if they have purchased a Mac, Apple Tv or an iPhone after September 10th, 2019. At launch, there are many shows that are available. They have collaborated with some of the best T.V. stars to make exclusive content for their streaming service. Here are some of my favorite shows so far along with their trailers: 1. SEE : This Apple-exclusive show has some of the best artists involved with Jason Mamoa being the lead actor for the show. The show is basically about a time when humanity has lost its sight and two children are born who have the power to see which is a surprise as well as a shock to different tribes. Some say that it will bring d

Image
Apple has wrapped up its event,  Apple announced 3 new iPhones this year like the previous year the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Yes, Apple has finally dropped the Roman numerals.  Here is everything you need to know about these new iPhones: iPhone 11:   The colorful iPhone 11 is a successor to the iPhone XR, but this time instead of giving it the R naming scheme they just call it the iPhone 11. The changes are also significant as well. The new iPhone 11 has the A13 Bionic chip (same as all other iPhones launched this year), it has a 12MP wide-angle lens along with and 12MP Ultra wide-angle lens instead of a telephoto lens as Apple achieved with its predecessor Apple was able to achieve Portrait photography with just one camera (Similar to the Pixel), both the front, as well as the back cameras, are able to record videos at 4K 60fps with seamless integration of both the camera while recording in such a way that the dynamic range and the focus does

ASUS ZENBOOK PRO DUO.. MY NEW FAVOURITE LAPTOP!!

Image
The laptop market has seen a lot of innovation in recent years and Asus has done an amazing job with the Zenbook Pro Duo. Asus has provided us with a laptop with two displays one 4k OLED touch screen display and a secondary 4K IPS panel which is also a touch screen above the keyboard, creating a multi-tasking monster.  Earlier I was also very skeptical about the overall performance, but now I am extremely satisfied. The RTX 2060 graphics card, with an i7 and i9 option processor, and a very fast SSD. But there are some cons also like short battery life, mushy keyboard, and thick body. It mainly focuses on content creators, but gamers also have an eye on this laptop due to its multitasking ability.  Price and availability: The fully specced out model for $2999, this includes an overclockable 2.4GHz Intel Core i9-9980HK processor with 32GB RAM, 1TB PCi's SSD,  an Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU with 6GB of VRAM. The $2,499 base model h

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Image
Computer and technology has made humans life so much easier. Now we can do various tasks without getting out of the house or even getting up from our couch. But as we all know that everything has its pros and cons, even though all the major IT companies are focussing on automation with the help of Artificial Intelligence which at the moment may look compelling but might lead to major problems later. AI has completely changed the way we do things with the ability to learn and adapt to the environment for which it is required. AI has made computers smarter and has provided them with the ability to work on them on according to the set of commands that have been written in the form of algorithms by the user. There is this interesting fact that most people don’t know about that every person that uses the internet has helped the companies to train their AI’s to be what it is today with the help of a series of tests like Captcha, Face Scanning, Voice Recognition etc. Basically, wh

UBER: A NECESSITY IN THE NEW WORLD

Image
Uber has transformed world. They revolutionized the way a person orders a taxi and also introduced us to ride sharing. But all this involved a lot of research and hard work. Which makes me curious that what kind of technology do they use to make their app so seamless? But before answering this question I had to take a look at Uber’s history, how they became known to the world. In 2008 Uber’s founder in a Tech Conference announced that he would create an application that would help the world in tackling a major problem i.e. booking cabs and after just 2 years in 2010 Uber was created and launched in San Francisco. In 6 Months, they had 6000 users and around 20000 rides, this was mainly because Uber focuses on attracting both drivers as well as riders simultaneously which was a great marketing strategy. Earlier days of marketing Uber used to promote their application by word of mouth, hosting and sponsoring tech events also giving each new rider a free first ride. Nowadays,

ELON MUSK: ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS OF THE WORLD

Image
Elon Musk is one of the most successful man in the world. He is the founder of The Boring Company, Founder, CEO and Lead Designer of Space X, CEO, Lead Designer of Tesla, Co-Founder of PayPal. He has been ranked as 21 st in the World’s Most Powerful Person and the 40 th Richest Man in the world by Forbes. Elon Musk has been working to revolutionize transportation both on Earth (With Tesla) as well as in Space (With SpaceX). He first revolutionized vehicles with the introduction of Electric Cars which are nowadays very famous in parts of the US and Canada. In 2001 Elon Musk created Space X with the goal to explore space and make it interesting for humans again. Initially, he went to Russia to buy ICBM (Intercontinental ballistic Missiles), but they were turned away as the Russian companies thought of them as a novice. Then in 2002, they went back to Russia in search for 3 ICBM but the price demanded by the Russians was too high. Thus, Musk came up with an idea to make thei

HUAWEI ARE THEY BACK IN BUSINESS?

Image
Recently Donald Trump raised a partial ban from Huawei meaning Huawei can now trade in the US and all US-based companies can also do business with Huawei. Thus, finally, now Huawei can continue using Android even though their in house Harmony OS was significantly faster than Android. But they are still sticking with Android and will still be developing their in house OS. But now the real question is that can the users now buy a Huawei device without any risk? To answer this question let's first revise Huawei's story here. Huawei was banned from doing any business in the US because the US government was skeptical that Huawei was spying on its users.  The situation was pretty bad  as no US-based company was allowed to do any more business with Huawei. Thus, Huawei was facing a major loss as companies like Google, Microsoft, ARM, etc could no longer do business with them. Thus, losing access to Android, Windows as well as ARM technology that is used to make their Kirin

NINTENDO SWITCH LITE

Image
Nintendo has finally announced the long-rumored mini Nintendo Switch Console called the Nintendo Switch Lite as the name suggests is a cheaper version of the regular Nintendo Switch. So, that it could be made available to a wider audience at a price of $200 and would be available on 20th September 2019.  But Nintendo had to make a few compromises to make this lite version of the console. Before talking about the compromises lets talk about what all does the lite version of the console has to offer. Obviously, the price is better that makes the switch available to a wider audience, the battery on the lite is better than the normal switch which would be 3-7 hours, various color options available i.e. Yellow, Teal, and Light Grey ( There is also a special Pokemon Edition Switch Lite),  there is finally a proper D-Pad. But there are some problems like the main selling point of the Switch is that it could be played on T.V. as well as a handheld console. But Nintendo has comple

SONY XPERIA 1: A PHONE WITH AN ELONGATED DISPLAY

Image
Sony has been in the smartphone game for a very long time. But their phones have never brought something new to the table. This might change with their latest smartphone the Xperia 1. This new smartphone has one unique display. It is an extremely tall display at 6.5 inches 4K OLED display that supports HDR along with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Sony claims that this phone can be used for content consumption, but it is mainly useful for movies only as no other content is available in a 21:9 aspect ratio like with YouTube you will always get black bars on both the sides and if you try to zoom to fill the screen the top of the video gets cut.   There are both pros as well as cons to this phone. Let's start with the pros of the phone even though it has a large display the phone is still pretty slim and easy to use by no means can this phone be used by one hand. Sony has provided various ways of helping the users to use their phone with one hand if you double-tapping the home b

CLOUD STORAGE AN IMPORTANT PART IN THE TECH WORLD

Image
Computers have taken us a long way now. Everything has been made considerably easy to do. But storage had always been a problem for everyone until cloud storage was introduced which allowed users to add their data to the cloud and access it from anywhere around the globe as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection for a price.  Cloud Storage is very popular nowadays due to many reasons like Reliability, Security, Easy Sharing, Data Recovery, Automation, etc. Reliability: It is easy to add and remove data in the cloud as long as you have a WiFi connection and it is accessible to use all the time even if for some reason your hard drive stops working and all your data has to be deleted. Security: Companies ensure that your data is completely safe and no one has access to it. The data is distributed among the cloud servers and is securely saved there. Thus, in case of any hardware failure, your data is always safe. Easy Sharing: Cloud Storage is a great option for b

BEST iOS 13 FEATURES!!!

Image
Apple recently announced the new version of iOS coming to our iPhones this fall. iOS 13 brings a lot of new features to your iPhone. 1. Dark Mode: One of the most anticipated features of iOS 13 this year is Dark    Mode. Apple has done a flawless job in making Dark Mode. Since the entire background in apps goes black it puts less strain on our eyes. Apple has added some interesting features as well as scheduled Dark Mode meaning that Dark Mode can automatically turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. Apple has even made some custom wallpapers that automatically switches to dark whenever dark mode is turned on. All native Apple apps have the Dark mode in-built and Apple has even provided the developers with an API that they can use to make Dark Mode usable on their apps. 2. Photos: The all-new Photos app has also seen some new features. Along with the new Dark Mode. There is also a new Photos view that allows us to view photos according to Days, Months and Years. Vi

OPPO'S NEW IN-DISPLAY SELFIE CAMERA

Image
Technology is booming at a rapid pace nowadays and a recent leap is the In-Display Fingerprint scanner, but Oppo has taken it one step further by introducing In-Display Selfie Camera, the company calls it USC ( Under Screen Camera). The technology behind it is also pretty complicated, but it is very interesting.  Basically, Oppo has created a custom build unit in which more light passes through the highly transparent region of the display. Oppo has done two things to make this work firstly they increased the size of the sensor and the aperture along with bigger pixel size. Secondly, Oppo has created a highly transparent material that allows the light to pass through the display.  During their press conference, Oppo said that their prototype uses 'zoning control' to dictate the pixels over the camera modules. This technology will allow them to make their camera to work with Portrait photos, Face unlock, and much more. According to me the main use of an unde

HUAWEI LAPTOPS DISCONTINUED

Image
Since the US trade ban on Huawei, things were already very bad but now they have gotten nothing but worse with all the US-based companies stopping their partnership with Huawei. Microsoft and Intel are one of them. Huawei just got into laptop business and the laptops that they have made themselves a pretty good competitor in the laptop world. Even though many people would argue that Huawei completely copies Apple in terms of design   Till now Huawei has launched 4 laptops and all of them are really good. But now because of the ban, Microsoft is no longer able to provide them with the Windows software and as we know it would be difficult to accept a laptop without Windows or MacOS. Now they might be able to use Linux or Ubuntu, but they are not as powerful as Windows or MacOS.  Huawei had to announce a new laptop named Huawei Matebook X Pro with some pretty good specs a 3000x2000 resolution, 100% SRGB, 8th Generation Intel i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce MX250 2GB GDDR5,

BEST OF E3 2019!!!

Image
E3 is one of the biggest gaming conventions. But this year it wasn't as impressive as the last few years. Don't get me wrong E3 was great. But Square Enix, Xbox, and Nintendo are the only ones who got the best announcements. Some of the best E3 games this year were: 1. Cyberpunk 2077(16th April 2020): CD Project Red has been working on Cyberpunk 2077 for a very long time now. But now we finally have a release date and in Microsofts E3 presentation they dropped a big surprise that Keanu Reeves from John Wick is in the game. He may not be as a playable character but it is still big news. 2. Star War Jedi: Fallen Order (15th November 2019): Finally, after such a long wait, we were given a glimpse of the new Star Wars games and now during Xbox's E3 briefing we got to see some gameplay and it looked really good. From slowing down time to deflecting the attack from the StormTroopers everything was smooth. Moreover, the game looks really good.
