SONY REVEALS 5 TIMES FASTER LOADS TIME WITH PLAYSTATION 5.
Sony recently teased the next generation PlayStation in an interview. Where they showed of the fast loading times through their onboard SSD, which they claim to be 5 times faster than any other SSD in the market. Which may be true as they showed a demo with the loading time of Spider-Man which is a very high graphics intensive game and surprisingly the game loaded in less than 1 second on the new PlayStation compared to 8 seconds on the PS4 PRO.
Even though the real name for the new PlayStation hasn't been revealed and Sony is just calling it Next Generation Console. But we all know it will be called the PlayStation 5. Sony has also said that they are not planning to release the PS5 in 2019. According to me, they may reveal it in 2020 during the Holidays.
PS5 specs have also been revealed and looking and the RAW power it is shaping to be pretty good. The Specs revealed are 8 Core CPU based on AMD'S third generation Ryzen line, the graphics will support Ray-Tracing ( Sony has not yet revealed Ray Tracing on the PS5).
Backward compatibility will also be an option with the new PlayStation 5 so as to get early adopters of the console and with their recent partnership with Microsoft, they could bring Cloud Gaming to their console as well to give Google Competition for they Google Stadia.
Even though Cloud Gaming is the future Sony may also be focussing is Physical Blu-Ray disc drive along with downloading and streaming ( There may be an all-digital PS5 like the all-digital Xbox One S). The only comment made by Sony is that the next generation console will have a disc drive.
THANK YOU.
