ARM MACBOOK RUMORS.
Apple is one of the biggest manufacturers and provides a wide variety of products and laptops are one of them for years Apple has been using Intel processors on their laptops, but now there are rumors that Apple might release a new Arm powered MacBook which seems to be pretty famous at the moment since mobile processors are getting more and more powerful each year and Apple's mobile processor have always been ahead of a generation compared to others. The all-new iPad Pro that comes with the A12Z processor which is faster than a lot of laptop processors thereby also being more efficient.
Implementation of an arm processor is not the most difficult task that Apple has it is optimizing its software for the same and also convincing its consumers as well as the developers to optimize their applications for their OS, which is a far more difficult job than it sounds seeing how Microsoft has been performing with their ARM devices and how the entire OS and third-party applications feel sluggish a large number of times as the day one sale is not very impressive, so most of the developers are not interested in optimizing their applications for these new arm processor devices.
Another thing is that it is not easy for a company to just switch their processors even though it might make Mac's cheaper and even more powerful. They have to go through a proper transition and have to make a strong argument regarding the product for which Apple is very good at. But this entire process will give Apple a huge amount of control over what and when they will have to update their MacBook's, making it similar to that of iPad.
It is also reported that Apple will provide a glimpse of these new Macs during their WWDC conference this year. It has also been reported that this ARM Mac will have a 12-core processor based on the A14 chip based on 5nm architecture that is coming in the upcoming 2020 iPhones, along with a very powerful GPU.
In the end, I believe that the main difficulty in getting the developers aboard. But to tackle this during WWDC, Apple could release an SDK to help the developers making the transition of their applications easier. Apple also has to ensure that the consumers are also willing to buy the product meaning that the product must be provided at an affordable price, maybe like an entry-level MacBook.
