THE ALL NEW M1 MACBOOK'S

Image
Apple's M1 Macbookls is officially here in the wild and has shown some major performance gains compared to the competition. Psychically nothing has changed the design, the form factor, the keyboard, the display, everything remains the same. The main changes all happen on the inside. NOTE: In this blog, I will mainly focus on the new Macbooks and not the Mac Mini. But most of what is written here also goes for the Mac Mini. HARDWARE Both the Macbook Air and the Macbook Pro have the same chipset with a total of 8 cores which includes 4 High-Efficiency cores and 4 High-performance Core. But the Air at its base model gets only a 7 core GPU while the Pro gets an 8 core GPU and both the model's cap out at 16GB RAM, max storage of 2TB and all this is packed inside the chipset to reduce the amount of latency it takes for all these components to communicate with each other. Except for the GPU, the Macbook Pro also has a fan to cool the CPU while the Macbook Air does not. Which allows

PC VS PS5 VS XBOX SERIES X

Image
Introduction This year even though was a difficult one but has been an exciting one for all gamers with Sony, Microsoft, Nvidia, and AMD all announcing new gaming hardware. In this video, I don’t want to get into the specifics and all for that there are many videos out there for that. Hardware Consoles have been the easiest for an individual to get into gaming without getting into much hardware complexity when you compare it to PC as it is plug and play and you get all the peripherals right inside the box. And this time both the PS5 and Xbox Series X have seen a major leap compared to their prior generations with real-time Raytracing support, super-fast SSD’s to reduce the loading times in-game, support for 8K video, 4K up to 120hertz with the help of HDMI 2.1 which is very new and is found in very few T.V’s nowadays. Sony has even re-engineered its controller and with a new Taptic Vibration Motor and Adaptive sense triggers that can adjust its pressure based on the game scenario. Most

ARM MACBOOK RUMORS.

Image
Apple is one of the biggest manufacturers and provides a wide variety of products and laptops are one of them for years Apple has been using Intel processors on their laptops, but now there are rumors that Apple might release a new Arm powered MacBook which seems to be pretty famous at the moment since mobile processors are getting more and more powerful each year and Apple's mobile processor have always been ahead of a generation compared to others. The all-new iPad Pro that comes with the A12Z processor which is faster than a lot of laptop processors thereby also being more efficient. Implementation of an arm processor is not the most difficult task that Apple has it is optimizing its software for the same and also convincing its consumers as well as the developers to optimize their applications for their OS, which is a far more difficult job than it sounds seeing how Microsoft has been performing with their ARM devices and how the entire OS and third-party applications feel slug

MACBOOK AIR VS MACBOOK PRO (2020). WHICH ONE SHOULD YOU BUY?

Image
Apple recently announced its new MacBook Pro which has 2 varients i.e. 2 Thunderbolt and 4 Thunderbolt Model. This comparison is mainly between the Quad-Core MacBook Air and the base model MacBook Pro which is for $1299 and comes with the 8th Generation processor. This does not make much sense, but Apple being Apple still did it as it might satisfy the needs of those people who occasionally edit content, but mostly search the web or consume content for which the MacBook Air lacks a few things. DESIGN: The build quality of each and every MacBook that Apple makes is exceptional no matter the price, Apple provides a full rigid aluminum chassis with absolutely no flex neither on the screen nor on the keyboard deck.  There are only a few minor differences between the two when compared to design i.e. the MacBook Air is lighter than the MacBook Pro, Air has a wedge-shaped design whereas the MacBook Pro does not. Both the laptops have the new Magic Keyboard with the scissor-switch mechanism an

DELL XPS 15 & XPS 17.. FINALLY A NEW DESIGN!

Image
For years Dell has had the best Windows laptop design with its XPS series of laptops. Dell hasn't changed the XPS design for almost 5 years, but all that changes now. Dell has announced the all-new 2020 Dell XPS 15 & an all-new XPS17 and this they come with a bang and I think this could be a serious competition for Apple and their MacBook Pro line-up. The whole laptop has been completely revamped with a new laser cut aluminum chassis, a new 16:10 infinity edge display with even smaller bezels than the last XPS, and there is no chin at the bottom of the laptop also the webcam is still on the top. Also, the port selection has changed drastically compared to their last laptop, both the XPS now have USB Type C (Thunderbolt compatible) ports along with a full-size SD card reader. The speakers have also been moved to the top of the laptop to provide a richer sound and the trackpad is huge compared to all other windows laptops. The display selection for the XPS 15 & 17 remains som

ADOBE PREMIERE PRO VS DAVINCI RESOLVE 16. IS TIME TO LEAVE ADOBE?

Image
Adobe has been the editing king for a long time now.  But in recent years it has been getting a lot of competitors who either provide the same features as Premiere or sometimes better than Premiere.   This is the comparison between Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve 16 and finally deciding which one to use in the end. PERFORMANCE & STABILITY: Performance has always been a big priority for anyone that is using software for kind of creative work and the same goes for these 2 Softwares. Adobe Premiere Pro depends more on CPU and less on the GPU which allows it to run on computers that don't have a very powerful GPU easily whereas Resolve 16 mostly depends on the computers GPU and a little bit of the CPU.  When it comes to Performance both the software perform perfectly fine at the task that is given to them. But when it comes to stability that is a whole different story Adobe Premiere Pro crashes a lot especially during some crucial times, Adobe has made some updates to ensure

iPhone SE 2. A $399 iPhone, Is it worth it?

Image
Apple one of the most prominent technology brands in the world. The company that charges $700 for wheels, but yes Apple has launched a $300 iPhone with almost the same specs as their $999 iPhone 11 Pro. I was also very surprised when I heard the iPhone SE price and then I looked at my personal iPhone 11 Pro and I thought how did they manage to reduce the price so much(keep in mind I hadn't seen the new SE design yet). But as soon as I saw the design I figured out Apple's Pricing with the new SE. DESIGN & DISPLAY: The new iPhone SE has an all-glass and aluminum design. It also shares a large number of design details with the old iPhone 8 having the same 4.7" retina LCD display with big chunky front bezels and the Home Button which brings back Apple's super quick Touch-ID which in today's time is an efficient way to get into your phone. The camera also has the same sensor as the iPhone 8 but has some new software optimizations done by the new chip and iOS 13. The

Dell XPS 13 (2020) vs MacBook Pro 13 (2020). Which is the better value laptop?

Image
Dell has been building fantastic and good looking laptops since 2015. Today they are legitimately a competition for Apple and all the other Windows laptop manufacturers. But since 2015 Dell had been using the same design but finally this year they updated their design and modernize their design by reducing the bezel size on all four corners even further, making it more beautiful than the MacBook Pro 13. Design: The design has always been a major factor for many consumers who are looking for a laptop to buy and both Apple and Dell nail this part with their beautiful designs and providing top-notch quality. For years Windows laptops were behind design and quality for years, but all this changed when Dell launched the first XPS in 2015 and their laptop manufacturers have followed. But this time  Dell after 5 years revamped its design by reducing the size of the bezel on their infinity edge display even further, thereby giving the display the aspect ratio of 16:10. While the MacBook has ha
