Android 12: Google’s New Approach to Android!

Image
Google recently announced the latest version of Android i.e., Android 12 with an entirely new design that they are calling Material You which features big buttons with shifting color functionality and smoother animations. Android 12 takes a bold move by shifting towards a big bold and more playful design without any fear. Material You design in Android 12 allows the OS to use color extraction protocol to lift design elements from the wallpaper that is being used meaning the colors of the entire system will change depending on the home/Lock Screen background. This functionality allows an easy and automatic way for a device to look unique. Pulling down the notification shade shows a whole new design with big round rectangles at the top panel and they operate similar to the previous quick tiles. These larger tiles can now accommodate more information.  The increased size also means that fewer tiles can be seen at once i.e., four tiles on the first pull of the notification share instead of

Google Tensor Chip: A big step for the Pixel phones?

Image
Google launched its first Pixel smartphone in 2016 with the vision to have a better and smarter phone and now in 2021 Google has announced its Google Pixel 6 with its own custom silicon by the name of Tensor processor which would allow Google to display the power of their years of machine learning experience. Tensor is Google's biggest bet to gain popularity in the smartphone market and is centered around ML and AI-boosting TPU that will help in improving photos, videos, search, captioning, text-to-speech, and more. Even though the Tensor SoC might not launch at the same height as the iPhones, but can allow Google to become more competitive in the smartphone market. Google still hasn't revealed a lot about their SoC i.e. their CPU, GPU, modem, or any other major components. Speculations suggest that Google might use third-party components for the same, which means that Tensor will perform in similar lines to that of Qualcomm and Samsung. Some XDA notes state that Tensor will li

Mountain Everest Max Review: The Modular King!!

Mountain Everest Max is unlike any other gaming keyboard in the market. Mountain has created a very innovative and well-made keyboard with modular functionalities meaning the keyboard comes in a TKL form factor, but can be converted to a full-sized keyboard with its Numpad attachment that can be attached to either side of the keyboard. Design & Performance Mountain has an eye for detail as the keyboard arrives in a large box which has exceptional quality and the presentation is unlike anything I have ever seen before for a keyboard. The box has the keyboard along with pull-out drawers that contain all the accessories that come with the keyboard.  The keyboard is built sturdy with nice weight and rigidity. The keyboard on its own has a TKL form factor and comes with Cherry MX Switches with the options being Red, Blue, Brown, Speed Silver ($10), and Silent Red ($10). Per-key RGB is also present on the keyboard with a number of preset effects along with a diffuser ring around the sid

Intel is expanding upon its 11th Gen Mobile Processor line-up with its new 11th Generation H-Series Mobile Processors for gaming laptops, which are aimed at gaming, content creation as well as mobile workstations.  The main difference between the new H-Series and the U-Series is that the H-Series is paired with less powerful integrated graphics with 32 execution units, but these new UHD graphics are based on the Xe Architecture. Most importantly these new 11th Gen H-Series processors are based on Intel's 10-nanometer Superfin process technology with a max of 8 cores and 16 threads along with a single and dual-core turbo performance up to 5GHz. Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 Review, has Samsung finally done it?

Image
In the last few years, Samsung has launched a number of Galaxy Books. Despite having good specifications and a popular brand name, they have not been widely accepted by the people. But, Samsung is planning to change that with their Galaxy Book Pro 360.  The laptop comes is available in clamshell or convertible two-in-one in 13-inch and 15-inch form factor. Samsung is targeting a very specific audience with its OLED display and its three-pound weight. The laptop is made with the help of a relationship between Samsung and Intel, which has further allowed Samsung to add this product to their Galaxy ecosystem. It's not all gold In this review, I will mainly be talking about the 15-inch model. But most of the things can be applied to the 13-inch model as well. It starts at $1300 which is on par with other premium two-in-ones and comes in three colors i.e. Mystic Navy, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Silver. The Galaxy Book 360 is a very thin and light laptop that can be seen when you pick i

The new Model S. Does Elon hate the traditional round steering wheel?

Cars are becoming smarter with the latest technologies, we as consumers have seen a lot of development in the car infotainment systems and making the car more software controlled. And it is not new that Elon Musk's Tesla has some of the most advanced infotainment systems and with the new Model S has touched a new boundary in cars and that is gaming which could be used to replace your next-generation high-end gaming consoles with Elon claiming that the car would be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3. The new Model S does not look too different but there are some minor changes like a new front bumper along with a new intake design, tweaked rear diffuser, and an updated 19- and 21- inch wheel design with black exterior trim. Even though the external is not majorly changed but the internal has been given an all-new look with a more refined layout of the cabin and simplification of things as much as possible, which also includes chopping the steering wheel in half removing the
