ASSASSINS CREED ORIGINS REVIEW!!!

Assassin's Creed Origins, the latest of the Assassin's Creed game series released on October 27, 2017. In a short context I can confess that I am absolutely in love with this game, a new concept from the older games, new game mechanics design, etc, so in short, pretty much I can say its amazing but with a few flaws. In the latest installment of the series, you explore the origins of the series of the Assassin's Creed, how it all began. You play as a new character named Bayek and his wife Aya who were the progenitors of the Creed. You play in the lands of Egypt where you explore its many major areas and its famous city of Memphis. This game also includes famous characters from real history like Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. In the usual modern day aspect this time you actually control a new modern day character named Layla Hassan who is an Abstergo employee who is the one exploring the life of the progenitor's of the Assassins.

In the long elaboration, what I love about this game is that it is not exactly similar to previous game mechanics. This latest installment of the series adapts to RPG mechanic system giving it a more effort and fun to play design, unlike the previous mechanics where one counter is an instant kill. What's more that it has not entirely ditched the previous concepts of the game, it still has previous mechanics from the older games like the viewpoint synchronization. I also love the new character development system with its different style of skill tree system where you apply skill points to grow your character to your own personal playstyle, open combat oriented or more stealthy-assassin like. Now apart from the usual historian assassin gameplay finally after 3 games from the series we get back the modern-day gameplay which sadly does not include much modern story and gameplay but still its good that it is not just boring cinematic cutscenes from the previous games like Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Now, I really don't wish to elaborate on the flaws because there aren't really many but it seems necessary to have a perspective on flaws as well to get the true understanding of the game and before I even begin, these flaws are "opinions" and not a general view from everyone. Personally, I really disliked the combat system, I liked it in the context that at least there is a new combat system but sadly not a good one. The combat system feels aesthetically pretty mediocre. I really can't explain this in a verbal context, the combat system is really something which has to be experienced from this game to really judge. Another flaw I feel is that there should've been more story from the modern day aspect of this game, to understand more about the modern day character Layla and explore more of modern day Egypt.
Overall, apart from a few slight flaws this game has, I think this game is absolutely amazing and has saved the Assassin's Creed franchise from dying thanks to the PC port Assassin's Creed Unity and its mediocre optimization.
