Android 12: Google’s New Approach to Android!

Google recently announced the latest version of Android i.e., Android 12 with an entirely new design that they are calling Material You which features big buttons with shifting color functionality and smoother animations. Android 12 takes a bold move by shifting towards a big bold and more playful design without any fear. Material You design in Android 12 allows the OS to use color extraction protocol to lift design elements from the wallpaper that is being used meaning the colors of the entire system will change depending on the home/Lock Screen background. This functionality allows an easy and automatic way for a device to look unique. Pulling down the notification shade shows a whole new design with big round rectangles at the top panel and they operate similar to the previous quick tiles. Google Tensor Chip: A big step for the Pixel phones?

Google launched its first Pixel smartphone in 2016 with the vision to have a better and smarter phone and now in 2021 Google has announced its Google Pixel 6 with its own custom silicon by the name of Tensor processor which would allow Google to display the power of their years of machine learning experience. Tensor is Google's biggest bet to gain popularity in the smartphone market and is centered around ML and AI-boosting TPU that will help in improving photos, videos, search, captioning, text-to-speech, and more. Even though the Tensor SoC might not launch at the same height as the iPhones, but can allow Google to become more competitive in the smartphone market. Google still hasn't revealed a lot about their SoC i.e. their CPU, GPU, modem, or any other major components. Speculations suggest that Google might use third-party components for the same, which means that Tensor will perform in similar lines to that of Qualcomm and Samsung. Steam Deck: A worthy competitor?

  Valve recently announced their new hardware their handheld switch-like gaming device that will ship in December 2021. The console comes in with an AMD APU with a quad-core Zen 2 CPU with eight threads and eight compute units’, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, with 64GB/256GB/512GB SSD and the ability to expand the storage with the help of a microSD card. The overall design of the steam deck shows that there are multiple input methods that are available to the user with two thumbsticks, two trackpads beneath the thumbsticks to provide better precision to the user while playing First-Person shooters, the steam deck also has ABXY buttons, a D-Pad, two shoulder trigger buttons, and a 7-inch 1280x800 touchscreen.   Microsoft announced Windows 11 during their virtual event on 25th June 2021 along with some big changes to their operating system after six years. New Features Redesigned Interface : Microsoft has introduced a clean new design for Windows 11 with rounded corners, a glassy design, and a centered Start menu and Taskbar. The Settings app has been redesigned and has been made cleaner, the Quick Settings tab has also been redesigned and can now be accessed easily by clicking on the Wi-Fi and volume icon. Asus Zephyrus M16 with the near bezel less display.

Shortly after Intel announced their new 11th Gen chipsets, Asus announced their new gaming laptop i.e. the Zephyrus M16 which goes up to the RTX 3070 and uses the latest generation of Intel's 11th generation of CPUs. The M16 has a QHD, 165Hz display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is not common when it comes to gaming laptops. But the look of the laptop and the specifications can justify for that as this laptop can be used by both gamers as well as content creators.   Intel after announcing their new H-Series laptop processors, many laptop manufacturers announced a number of new machines that would be using these new chips. Here is a list of some laptops that have been announced coming with the latest 11th Generation H-Series processor: ASUS Asus has announced their new generation of Zepharus laptops i.e. the Asus Zephyrus M16 which will sit above the G14 and the G15. These laptops are configurable with up to an Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU along with Intels H-Series of the chip. New Intel 11th Gen H Series Processors for Gaming Laptops of 2021

  Intel is expanding upon its 11th Gen Mobile Processor line-up with its new 11th Generation H-Series Mobile Processors for gaming laptops, which are aimed at gaming, content creation as well as mobile workstations.  The main difference between the new H-Series and the U-Series is that the H-Series is paired with less powerful integrated graphics with 32 execution units, but these new UHD graphics are based on the Xe Architecture. Most importantly these new 11th Gen H-Series processors are based on Intel's 10-nanometer Superfin process technology with a max of 8 cores and 16 threads along with a single and dual-core turbo performance up to 5GHz. Intel has also claimed that these new processors can directly access the GDDR6 memory that is attached to the GPU to ensure higher framerates with lower latency.
